His ability to go up and make some huge catches is what makes him intriguing. He never gives up on a bad pass and makes plays most wouldn’t make. His ball tracking is outstanding, and he creates huge plays after the catch. Movement needs to be more fluid, route running can look clunky at times, and overall speed is an area for development.

TRAIT EVALUATION

Movement Skills
Movement skills could use some work. He isn’t incredibly fast, but he can break off long plays. Route running needs to be more fluid. He does work well being shifty and making defenders miss.

Physicality
Physical runner, he plays with great contact balance and is tough to take down. SUMMARY

A rare-sized athlete who has the physical tools to play in the power 5 at the next level. He works really well in zone and man blocking schemes and shows fantastic ability with his lateral movement to be able to attack the defender he needs to be blocking. He gets off the ball quickly, often overwhelming defenders at the point of attack. His pass blocking footwork is already solid and shows quick feet, setting back in the pocket. He needs to play with more bend. He often leans forward, making him prone to getting off balance. Hand placement also needs more consistency. He’s an intriguing athlete with rare size and physical combos who needs more fundamental development.

TRAIT EVALUATION

Movement Skills
Average movement skills, at times, he looks a bit clunky getting upfield. Straight line movement could use some development. Lateral movement is really good. He works well in zone blocking schemes and moving side to side to get to rushing defenders.

Physicality
Super physical players who play with a ton of strength. He consistently drives back defenders in the run game and has the leg strength to anchor down and shut down pass rushers.

Football Intelligence
Good intelligence, as he worked well in man and zone blocking schemes. He is quick and shifty, rather than a pure speedster, and is excellent at creating yards after the catch with field vision and contact balance. He worked as the centerpiece for his offense, providing versatility as a slot receiver, tailback, and taking handoffs in jet sweeps. Despite being shorter, he showed incredible ball skills and went up and came down with plenty of 50/50 balls. He needs to work on being more explosive off the ball and adding to his physical size to get more Division 1 vision.

TRAIT EVALUATION

Movement Skills
He is a great straight-line runner and turned in some huge plays for his offense. He is shifty and can execute a variety of moves to evade defenders. More of a sound athlete rather than a pure speedster.

Physicality
He is a physical runner for his size. His contact balance is excellent, allowing him to easily break weak tackles. He is not going to run someone over, but also doesn’t shy away from physicality.

Football Intelligence
Intelligence is great; he was able to learn multiple different packages his offense used for him.
